“Don’t come over here with that damn foolishness. Let something jump up out of this damn box!” An unimaginable terror will be awakened. “Boo Bit–es!” Don’t fear the dead fear Madea. Just in time for Halloween Tyler Perry is back as the gun-toting in your face popular Madea character he created in 1999. In ‘Boo! A Madea Halloween,’ set on Halloween night, Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.
“I don’t play that Halloween bull–it.” There will be tricks. There will be treats. And all hell will break loose. Written and directed by Tyler Perry, Perry says the idea was conceived after watching the film, Top Five. In that film, Chris Rock’s character enters a movie theater and sees movie goers lined up for a fictional Tyler Perry film about Madea in a haunted house, fighting ghosts. Coincidentally, that film was called Boo! as well.
“I know that damn clown didn’t just move from where it was.” With a cast that includes: Bella Thorne, Cassi Davis, Jimmy Tatro, Patrice Lovely, Andre Hall and Yousef Erakat, in addition to playing Madea, Perry will play the roles of “Joe” and “Brian.” “Ok! I know this is crazy! But I promise you this is the funniest movie I’ve ever done.” tweeted Perry. ‘Boo! A Madea Halloween,’ is spooking theaters October 21, 2016.
