“My best friend got killed because of me. Nobody near me is safe.” In the promo for season 2 for ‘Shades of Blue‘ Harlee Santos’ (Jennifer Lopez) and Michael Wozniak (Ray Liotta) voice about each other as their photos flash on the screen. Harlee sounds disappointed over her inability to protect the people she loves the most while Wozniak is still feeling hurt over Harlee’s decision to stab him in the back. Even though he ultimately took the fall for his team, Wozniak continues to question Harlee’s motives.
“Sometimes the right decision isn’t in the book.” Between good cop and bad cop there are ‘Shades of Blue.’ “A Cop’s world has many shades. There’s a lot of grey areas, morality is different for everybody.” The Ryan Seacrest produced NBC Cop drama, ‘Shades of Blue,’ follows a group of people who stick together through thick and thin.
Someone will pay, no one can escape sins of the past, nothings ever black or white there’s tons of shades in between. “Good people do questionable things all the time.” We are the choices we make. The series is based on a novel by Michael Rudolph titled Shades of Blue: 30 Years of (Un)ethical Policing. The one-hour drama from Oscar-winning Director and Executive Producer Barry Levinson also stars Sarah Jeffery, Hampton Fluker, Drea de Matteo, Warren Kole, Dayo Okeniyi and more. Watch ‘Shades of Blue’ Sundays at 10:00pm/9c on NBC.
