‘I’m crazy about you.” “I’m crazy about you.” “But don’t say as friends.” “Why is that so bad?” ‘The Only Living Boy in New York’ follows a recent college graduate Thomas Webb (Callum Turner), the son of a publisher and his artistic wife, has just graduated from college and is trying to find his place in the world. Moving from his parents’ Upper West Side apartment to the Lower East Side, he befriends his neighbor W.F. (Jeff Bridges), a shambling alcoholic writer who dispenses worldly wisdom alongside healthy shots of whiskey.
“What’s my father doing here?” “Who’s he with?” “I don’t know, it’s not my mother.” “That’s her, the other woman.” Thomas world begins to shift when he discovers that his long-married father (Pierce Brosnan) is cheating on his mother (Cynthia Nixon) and having an affair with a seductive younger woman (Kate Beckinsale).
“Excuse me you don’t know who I am.” “Yes I do.” “You do?” “You’re the boy who follows me, you’re also Ethan’s son.” Thomas’s character is both pursuing a young woman (Kiersey Clemons) and determined to break up his father’s relationship he ends up sleeping with his father’s mistress.

The film, which hits theaters August 11, 2017 stars Callum Turner, Jeff Bridges, Kate Beckinsale, Pierce Brosnan, Kiersey Clemons, and Cynthia Nixon.
