I will remain objective in my relationships.” Netflix’s new psychological thriller series ‘Gypsy’ follows a Manhattan-based therapist Jean Holloway who becomes too immersed in the lives of her patients and develops dangerous intimate and illicit relationships with the people in their lives.
“I will not violate the physical boundaries of the patient and will always do no harm.” Two-time Oscar nominee Naomi Watts stars as Jean Holloway with Billy Crudup portraying her husband. Holloway seems to have a picturesque life as the borders of her professional life and personal fantasies become blurred, she descends into a world where the forces of desire and reality are disastrously at odds.
The drama series created by Lisa Rubin cast also includes Sophie Cookson, Lucy Boynton and Karl Glusman.
With directors that include: Sam Taylor-Johnson, Victoria Mahoney and Coky Giedroyc, the first season will consist of ten episodes, and is scheduled to debut on Netflix June 30, 2017.
