“Biggie was 24 when he was killed. Tupac was 25.” Their Lives became Legend. Their Deaths deserve Justice. ‘Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G’ is a scripted true crime series based on the murder investigations of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls.
“There is a very real possibility that the murder of Biggie Smalls is directly related to the murder of Tupac.” The TV series will chronicle the two major police investigations into the separate murders of the two rappers. Tupac was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in September 1996 at the age of 25, and Biggie was also shot and killed by an unknown assailant in March 1997 at the age of 24.
“My son Christopher and Tupac were friends. You’re going to try to find out who really killed the Notorious B.I.G.” The anthology series chronicles the dual police investigations into the controversial murders of two of the rap industry’s most legendary players.
“Is my objective to solve this case, or to cover the department’s ass? What if it was a white celebrity who got shot? For us not to make an arrest is embarrassing.” ‘Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G’ follows LAPD Detectives Russell Poole (Jimmi Simpson) and Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel) with Bokeem Woodbine as they work the cases nearly ten years apart, and sheds new light on the demise of Tupac and Biggie Smalls. The series is slated to be released in 2018 on the USA Network.
