“You know there is something about a table of strangers together for days with nothing in common but the need to go from one place to another and never see each other again.” Based on Agatha Christie’s novel ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ the star-studded remake follows a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into the thrilling mystery of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect.
“I see evil on this train. A passenger has died.” “So they got him after all. You assumed he was killed?” “No, no, he was in perfectly good health, he had his enemies.” “Indeed he was murdered.” One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again. “There are 12 suspects on this train. We must not narrow that number to one.”
“If there was a murder, then there was a murderer. The murderer is with us and everyone of you is a suspect.” The first trailer opens with passengers Daisy Ridley, Judi Dench and Leslie Odom Jr. sitting in the cafeteria of the lavish and beautiful Orient Express. The trailer then skips to Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer making eyes at each other in the hallway of the train.
However, the train soon comes to a screeching halt as it becomes evident there has been a murder on the train — and of course, everyone claims they are innocent. Directed by Kenneth Branagh from a screenplay by Michael Green based on Agatha Christie’s novel with an all-star cast that includes: Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penélope Cruz, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad, Willem Dafoe, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench and more, ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ hits theaters November 10, 2017.
