The Past can be a Dangerous Place to go for Milo Ventimiglia & Rachel Melvin in ‘Madtown’ (Trailer)

“I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help me God. I remember her waking me up for school.” In ‘Madtown’ a stand-up comedian confesses to a murder on-stage at an open mic night to a shocked audience – his crime the result of a deadly bond formed with his older sister, just released from prison after a 20-year stay for the murder of their parents.

“My parents they died a long time ago.” He is haunted and confronted by his sister years later who was imprisoned for killing their abusive parents and finds his life turned upside down when she gets out on parole and starts trying to control his life.

“We’re gonna be a family again. It’s really important to me that we leave this place.” He is torn between the loving bond he now shares with a caring surrogate family, and the ultimate choice he must make between them – his dysfunctional blood ties with his own sister, or his picturesque view of the ideal family.

Directed and written by Charles Moore the award-winning film starring Emmy nominated Milo Ventimiglia, Rachel Melvin, John Billingsley, Bonita Friedericy, and Amanda Aday will be in theaters and On-Demand January 5, 2018.

Entertainment of interest to me is not just a repeat of what you can find elsewhere, but, is inclusive of stories that are not highly publicized as well as 'old-school' celebrity news. I see the glass half-full and strive to be a light in the darkness.
