“After years of research we discovered the male and female brain is wired very differently.” In ‘The Female Brain’ when a female scientist studies the differences between the male and female brain, her findings dictate how she lives her life. “To him I’m basically a blow up doll.”

“Relationships take work. Knowing your brain makes life so much easier even though people can be complicated and nobody can deny our ability to get back up.” The comedy based on the 2006 book The Female Brain by Louann Brizendine is directed by Whitney Cummings who co-wrote the screenplay with Neal Brennan.

The film stars Whitney Cummings, Sofía Vergara, Deon Cole, Toby Kebbell, James Marsden, Jane Seymour, Lucy Punch, Beanie Feldstein, Cecily Strong, and Blake Griffin. ‘The Female Brain’ had its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 17, 2017. It is scheduled to be released on February 9, 2018, by IFC Films.
