Paula Patton & Omar Epps Can’t Escape Their Fears in Action Packed Thriller ‘Traffik’ (Trailer) with Laz Alonso

“You have been nothing but a positive force in my life. Happy birthday, it’s your dream car.” “It’s amazing.” “Let’s get away from the city. Miles away from everything. I’m trying to create a moment, I want to give her something that she can remember for the rest of her life.” In ‘Traffik’ Brea goes on what is supposed to be a romantic getaway to a cabin in the woods with her boyfriend, John, but after a chance encounter with a suspicious gang at a secluded truck stop, they find themselves unknowingly in possession of a phone containing proof of the gang’s sex trafficking exploits.

“That is a hot rod.” “Built it myself.” “Where you’d learn that, prison auto shop? Sweet ride, smoking piece in the store, you a ball player?” “Not looking for any trouble.” Far from the City Anything Can Happen. Alone in the mountains, Brea and John and another couple must defend themselves against a violent biker gang who turns up and begins to torment them.

“Got a big problem, can’t find the phone.” “People I work for do not accept mistakes.” “It’s that girl. Something in my gut was telling me she needed help.” “I think I accidentally put my phone in your bag.” “Let me help you?” “Just give me the phone, they will kill you.” Caught in the crosshairs of the relentless crew, Brea and John are left with one mission: survival.

Refuse to be a Victim. “You got something that belongs to me.” “They’re gonna kill us.” “I need help right now, please I don’t know where I’m at.” The foursome are forced to fight for their lives against the gang will stop at nothing to protect their secrets. Directed and written by Deon Taylor  with a cast that includes Paula Patton, William Fichtner, Missi Pyle, Dawn Olivieri, Luke Goss, Omar Epps and Laz Alonso ‘Traffik’ hits theaters April 27, 2018.

Entertainment of interest to me is not just a repeat of what you can find elsewhere, but, is inclusive of stories that are not highly publicized as well as 'old-school' celebrity news. I see the glass half-full and strive to be a light in the darkness.
