Nicholas Cage Escapes from New America in Action Sci-Fi Thriller ‘The Humanity Bureau’ (Trailer)

“I’m aware of the danger, I’m making this trip of my own freewill.” In the year 2030 global warming has taken its toll and is wreaking havoc in parts of the American Midwest. ‘The Humanity Bureau’ will exile all unproductive citizens of American society to a colony known as New Eden. “You must be a productive citizen, it’s the law.” “I’m no fool I’m a citizen of the United States of America.”

“What is the truth? What have we done?” Seeds rarely grow into vegetation, the water is mostly polluted, and people are obligated to work hard to earn their keep. Noah Kross (Nicolas Cage) is an agent of the humanity bureau, a government agency that determines a person’s productivity, Kross’s reports are key factors in deciding who stay in America and who is deported to New Eden.

“As citizens of this great nation its our duty to contribute more than we take.” After discovering agency secrets Kross soon makes it his mission to expose the bureau’s secrets while also trying to save a banished woman and her young son.

“We have to leave the 3 of us, now!” In an attempt to escape from new America, the action takes Kross, the woman and her son from the deserts of Nevada to the snow-capped mountain peaks of Canada. Directed by Rob W. King from a screenplay by Dave Schultz the science fiction thriller ‘The Humanity Bureau’ starring Nicolas Cage,  Jakob Davies and Sarah Lind will be released on April 6, 2018.

Is it just me, or is Nicholas Cage a really busy man, starting in several movies coming out, soon? What do you think?

Entertainment of interest to me is not just a repeat of what you can find elsewhere, but, is inclusive of stories that are not highly publicized as well as 'old-school' celebrity news. I see the glass half-full and strive to be a light in the darkness.
